Jefferson Regional Medical Center offers Behavioral Health Services 24 hours per day, seven days a week because people of all ages, races, and economic background can be affected by mental illness.

If you or someone you love is displaying:

a personality change

inability to cope with problems and daily activities

strange to grandiose ideas

excessive anxieties

marked changes in eating or sleeping patterns

extreme highs and lows

abuse of alcohol or drugs

excessive anger, hostility, or violent behavior

Your confidential call will be answered by an understanding mental health professional that can help put your mind at ease. There is no charge for this assessment.

Based on the information obtained during the conversation, the mental health professional may refer you to an outpatient program or physician or recommend inpatient care.

Patients who require inpatient care will be admitted to the program that is most appropriate for their needs. At Jefferson Regional Medical Center we offer our Adult Behavioral Health floor for patients 18 or older that are in crisis and experiencing symptoms associated with mood or thought disorders. In response to the unique needs of older adults, Jefferson Regional Medical Center offers a specialized Geriatric Behavioral Health floor for persons age 55 or older.
