What are Chronic Wounds?
A chronic wound is one that does not heal, or at least improve
significantly, within four weeks. Current statistics conclude that
nearly 5 million Americans (2 percent of the U.S. population)
are afflicted with chronic wounds.
The most common sufferers of chronic wounds are individuals with:
