How we help you and your patients
A chest-pain protocol is integrated with the Deles Heart and Vascular Center's Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and its Open Heart Surgery Program and coordinated with area paramedics and Emergency Medical Services (EMS). This protocol coordinates efforts of these entities, ensuring effective early intervention.
Experience - Comprehensive physician coverage and clinical oversight is provided via a service agreement with nationally recognized Sterling. All nurses are ACLS certified.
Communication - The staff delivers routine reports to patient's primary care physician.
Access - JMH is serviced by six of the eight ambulance districts in the area-Valle, Joachim-Plattin, Ste. Genevieve County, Rock Township, St. Francois County, and Washington County.
24-hour access to on-site cardiac catheterization and open heart services.
Quality & Performance Indicators
- Arrival to EKG time. Target 10 minutes.
