Meet Our Rehab Team

Our Rehab team is dedicated to providing personalized, comprehensive services. We utilize a team approach featuring the combined skills of professional therapists, dietitians, audiologists, nurses, and exercise specialists. Rehab staff members include:

  • Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants - staff professionals work together to provide a range of patient services including gait training, assessment and instruction in exercises to improve balance, motion, strength, and posture. They perform ergonomic consultations and educate patients in proper body mechanics, pain-reducing therapies, family/caregiver training, and more.
  • Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapist Assistants - staff professionals coordinate a range of patient services including activities of daily living retraining, home management and safety assessment, instruction in the use of assistive devices and durable medical equipment, hand and upper extremity evaluation and treatment, education in energy conservation and work simplification, pediatric developmental assessment and management, and more.
  • Cardiopulmonary Rehab Nurse, Exercise Specialists and Therapist - staff professionals develop specific exercise prescriptions designed to improve a patient’s functional capacity, musculoskeletal fitness, and sense of well being. They also educate patients in lifestyle modifications along with monitoring heart rate, blood pressure, EKG, blood sugar, and oxygen saturation during patient activity.
  • Speech Language Pathologist - staff professionals whose duties include functional swallowing evaluation and treatment, modified barium swallow studies and interpretation, evaluation and treatment of speech dysfunction, and speech retraining.
  • Audiologist - a staff professional who assists patients by conducting hearing tests and providing middle ear analysis and newborn hearing screens. Additional services include testing for dizziness and dispensing hearing aids, swim molds, and noise protection devices.
  • Dietitian - a staff professional who can help you make realistic, sensible, and medically sound changes in your eating habits. Our Registered Dietitian can analyze your current diet and lifestyle, assess nutritional needs, develop meal plans, strengthen label reading skills, and discuss food preparation and recipe modification. Nutrition counseling is available for people with diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, or those needing assistance with weight control and management.
